“Dressing up” in college has a whole new meaning. I was the type to plan an outfit almost every day of high school. In college, t-shirts, running shorts, leggings, and comfy clothes are the accepted daily wardrobe for going to class, (and I’m not complaining). I do stick to a simple t-shirt and shorts/leggings lots of days, but I like to mix it up throughout the week and “dress up”, too. Those days, I go for cute, but comfortable outfits, like these!
With the amount of walking I do daily (2 – 5 mile average, thanks Fitbit) and the hours spent in class, I have to be comfortable all day. I definitely choose comfort over fashion if it comes down to it, but I do my best to find a happy medium.
Here are the details for four comfy/casual outfits I’ve worn in the last two weeks. These pieces are all favorites I find myself grabbing every time I want to wear something other one of my many sorority t-shirts! (Okay, so many I snuck a few shirts in here anyway…)
Outfit #1
Sweater: similar – my actual favorite cardigan ever
Shirt: sorority shirt, similar plain shirt here & here
Leggings: similar here – I always go for athletic leggings over the regular kind. They’re more comfortable and have better coverage!
Shoes: Tory Burch Miller in patent “sand” – My personal faves, and a big “treat yourself” gift to myself when I worked during high school
Jewelry: class pearl earrings & this Dogeared necklace (I got this one on clearance for $15!)
Hair: I’ve been loving curling my hair lately for no occasion, and I’ve perfected my baby-bun and it’s perfect for my super thick hair
Outfit #2

Sweater: similar – A great pick from American Eagle that I go 50% off! I chose to size up for an even comfier fit
Bralette: Racerback in black – On sale for $15
Jeans: American Eagle jeggings – My favorite of all time!!
Shoes: Black Converse low top
Jewelry: these earrings & same necklace as #1 – I got the earrings for a discount on eBay!
Hair: the baby-bun makes another appearance
Outfit #3
Shirt: my favorite sorority shirt, but a plain similar one here & here
Jeans: American Eagle jeggings – my absolute favorite again, in a darker wash
Shoes: Jack Rogers in blush – I couldn’t decide between these and my Tory’s
Jewelry: classic pearl earrings, similar necklace, & similar bracelet
Hair: all natural, pulled half-up
Outfit #4
Shirt: similar – something soft, off the shoulder, & long enough to wear with leggings
Bralette: halter in white
Leggings: similar
Shoes: Jack Rogers in platinum
Jewelry: pearl earrings, monogram necklace (similar), & bracelet from #3
Hair: another Kristen-classic, the loose low-pony

Kristen, you look good in all of your outfits. You know me, my outfits consist of blue jeans and knit shirts 90 % of the time.
Love your posts
