Office Workwear Lookbook – a Week of Outfits

Hey there! Today I’m sharing another week of my office workwear outfits. I started filming the video lookbook on Tuesday, but I’m sharing all 5 days of outfit details in this post! Check out all the outfit details under each day’s photo below!

Monday’s outfit was a fan favorite!

This was my first time wearing these comfy plaid pants from American Eagle. I had the most responses to this photo on my Insta stories! I love American Eagle for work clothes also, because their clothes are so soft. As I mentioned in this post, I look for work clothes that are comfortable & chic, & these pants (wearing size 6) made the mark.

This was the outfit I styled in my Workwear Shoes post!

After ordering & returning about 5 different types of Loft work pants, I finally found a fit & style that fits and flatters my shape. I wear the Julie Skinny Fit in size 2. I have these in a few colors now and *actually* enjoy wearing them, from a girl that doesn’t like wearing pants, ha!

Loft has frequent sales and their clothes are great quality, so definitely check keep tabs on their site if you’re looking to make a purchase. I usually wear a size small in tops.

In the video version of this post, I mentioned that today was the ‘test of these shoes’… test FAILED! Either my feet have shrunk or my shoes have grown… I’ve had these nude heels for a few years and they simply do not fit anymore. I brought the nude flats I wore Tuesday, and changed back into them within an hour, oops!
I found this black keyhole top at Express and it’s the perfect workwear staple to style a ton of different ways. Like Loft, Express has frequent sales so it’s worth waiting to buy! Most of their items come in a variety of colors as well. I’m usually not the type to buy multiples in different colors, but when you find good workwear pieces that make you look & feel good, stock up!

I call this one, “the LinkedIn Photo Outfit”. I haven’t worn this combo since this time last wear when I was at a conference in Atlanta, where they provided free headshot sessions. This top is an older style from J. Crew, but any good ol’ button down will do! This cardigan is from Loft & is so soft. I love the look of layered button downs and sweaters, but considering the Florida weather, this is about as good as I can do!

– Friday –

Fri-YAY! My cute momma actually picked out this top & sent it to me, along with another pair of these Loft pants in black, so I can keep wearing them all the time! I couldn’t find the exact top online, but I linked a few of my fave workwear shirts above instead 🙂

We had an office dinner party after work this day & it was so fun! I’m the newbie in the office, but I genuinely love working with the people around me so it was lovely to spend quality time outside the office.

Thanks for reading! I hope this gave you some inspiration for ‘young professional’ (and comfy) workwear. Or, inspired you for classy everyday style! ‘Workwear’ is actually a trend happening this season, but I’m not mad about it. As attributed to Oscar Wilde, “you can never be overdressed or overeducated”.

Blessings always,
