Office Workwear Lookbook pt. 3

Office Workwear Lookbook - Kristen Shane

Here’s another week of my ‘young professional’ business outfits for work! My office is more on the business professional side, & I’m sharing my journey of building a professional business wardrobe. This is my third time posting a weekly lookbook like this, so be sure to catch the others if you haven’t already. Enjoy!

Get it done, & get it done, in heels.

I never thought I’d be the type to wear heels to work. I didn’t even wear heels to my own prom! But, since I’m limited to workwear daily now, I love finding fun pieces like this printed top or these comfortable heels. I purchased these DSW heels in this vlog  & have since worn them for full work days without changing into my backup flats!

Something about wearing heels (or even my shorter black wedges) to work gives me a little added confidence & femininity throughout the day.

Honestly, this is me in a work skirt.

My pink, black, & blue tweed skirt is one MAJOR sale (price is lower than what shows above)! It is a more wintery look, but the tweed style is in this season & very faux-Chanel, which I love! I’ve worn this skirt multiple times & love that it matches so many tops in my wardrobe.

This Express top is my fave!

I’ve linked the exact top above (in different colors) & the same top in a different material, but in the same color. This style is a bit more bold & modern, which I love. It’s a thick, stretchy material which makes it super wearable. Wearing an XS, because they were out of smalls, but since it’s a tied waist, it still fits great. And this top (in all the styles & colors) is on major sale currently!

Here’s to more amazing plaid pants from American Eagle!

This pair is similar to the fan-favorite pair from last week (see them in this post & on my Instagram). This pair is more high-waisted (and I have a long torso, so most things don’t actually wear this high-waisted on me) and a slightly thicker material but still extremely comfortable. The waist band is elastic and I am wearing a small! (For reference, I usually wear a size 6 in American Eagle pants).

My black top is an older style from Loft. Also a lightweight material & size small.

– Friday –Office Workwear Lookbook - Kristen Shane

Why can’t we act like every day is Friday?!

This dress from Loft has been one of my longest-loved business wardrobe items. I love it because it’s lightweight and versatile. I’ve worn it to fancier events (as featured in this vlog from December) but will also be able to wear it into the warmer months. Wearing a size small!

Thanks for reading & for being here! I hope you enjoyed another week of my workwear. The more I create these business outfits, the more I enjoy putting them together. Dressing office-appropriate in the soon-to-be-Florida-summer-weather will be a challenge, but I’m ready for it!

Blessings always,
