Weekend Trip to Orlando, FL

This path/arch (that I’m standing under in the previous photo) ran right alongside our house & led right out to the lake!

Like I mentioned in my Candidly May post, my family and I spent Memorial Day weekend in Orlando! My parents’ wedding anniversary always falls around Memorial Day, so we like to take a trip over the long weekend to celebrate.

My brother and I visited Hollywood Studios (my first time on the Tower of Terror!) and Magic Kingdom (because Mickey soft pretzels, Cinderella’s Castle, and the Little Mermaid ride are things I’ll always love). We stayed at a townhouse on a Marriott Resort property, and it was so beautiful! The block of townhouses was all Spanish style, and it felt like we were transported to Europe and staying in a Spanish villa.

It was pretty rainy and humid over the weekend, so I didn’t get in any pool time, but we did enjoy some resort s’mores and the lake-view from our back door! I dressed comfy for the weekend, featuring the Kristen-classic messy bun. I love this romper because it’s so comfortable, but also because my sister bought it for me awhile back because she thought it’d also be perfect for FSU game days!

It was nice to have a weekend escape (from LSAT studying) to spend time with family, celebrate my parents’ anniversary, and visit my pal Mickey Mouse, of course!
