Hello, hello, friends! I’m especially excited to bring you today’s post, although it’s a little different from my usual faith & inspo posts! This one is also a little shorter because I’m headed to my sister’s college graduation this weekend. She’s graduating from Clemson University (both my parents’ alma mater) and I am so dang proud of her!!!
I’m no beauty blogger, but I am a huge nail polish fanatic. Now that I think about it, nail polishes are probably the only thing I truly collect (and by collect, I mean buy all-the-blush-pinks)! I always have my nails painted, and only go bare for a day or two at most between shades. I know it’s not super healthy to always have polish on your nails, but I think life is too short to not have pretty nails! My close friends know that I simply cannot resist pretty light pink nail colors. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect not-see-through blush pink color for so long, so now that I’ve found a couple go-tos, I wanted to share them for you! I’ve included my all time favorite blush nail colors, as well as some brighter summery shades if that’s more your style! You can click on the nail polishes below to see them at their retailers, or by clicking their color names! Enjoy!

Perfect Pale Pink Nail Colors – blush is my favorite!
These blush shades are all so pretty! I’m always looking for opaque blush nail colors that are ‘just right’, without being too white or too pink! I’ve tried out all these colors, and they all pass my test! ‘Lisbon Wants Moor’ is my current fave, but I’ve been wearing the Sally Hansen ‘Tickled Pink’ forever (seriously, I’ve probably bought 8 or 9 of them over the years). My friends used to joke that this was the ‘Kristen Pink’ because I wore it so often! I think OPI is the best quality nail polish, as it wears well and lasts the longest, but each bottle retails for $8-10. The Sally Hansen ‘Xtreme Wear’ line colors (shown in the pictures above; including ‘Tickled Pink’) retail for $2-3, are quick drying, and wear well without a top coat, which is why I’ve continued to buy them!
I love painting my own nails, especially since it’s much cheaper than going to the salon. Even the ‘more expensive’ nail polishes, like OPI, still give you a bunch of manicures, for half the price of a single salon manicure.
You can click on any of the nail polish bottles above to shop them, or by clicking the color names below! Some of the pictures above wouldn’t show up as the exact shade listed below (like the China Glaze), but the link should take you to the page where it is available 🙂
China Glaze – ‘My Sweet Lady’
OPI – ‘Lisbon Wants Moor’

OPI – ‘Passion’
Sally Hansen – ‘Tickled Pink’
Sally Hansen – ‘Pink Punk’
Bright Pink Nail Colors – perfect for summer!
If bright pinks are more your thing, then these are for you! ‘Strawberry Margarita’ is an older shade, but it used to be my go-to. Sally Hansen has some great bright pink options to choose from, as well as some peachy shades, which are so summery, link the one I’ve included below!
OPI – ‘Strawberry Margarita’
Sally Hansen – ‘Giant Peach’

OMG. I AGREE. It is so hard to find good nail polishes these days! I particularly like the OPI brands too. Today, I bought nail polish for the first time in a long time and I forgot how much cheaper it is to do my own nails! While some of these shades of pink might not work out with my skin tone, I’m definitely going to check them out! Also, congratulations to your sister! What an amazing accomplishment!

I so feel you there! As if it’s not enough of a challenge to find a good shade, only to try it and then it not look as good on! Thanks so much! And good luck with your nail painting 🙂

Yes!! I’m loving blush this season…and every season for my entire life. 😉

Yes, me too!! I’m sure it’ll go out of ‘style’, but I think I’m going to be loving it for a long time!
