Who is God calling you to be? I’m going to honest, friend (from now through the very end of this post, so sit tight and get ready to get real), for the last six months or so, I had no idea. I didn’t really know how to trust God and His call for me. It’s not that I don’t know what I should be doing or where I should be going, or what direction I should’ve been taking my life. I didn’t know because I simply wasn’t listening. I wasn’t listening to God. And if I’m not listening to God, because I’m listening too much to myself or to the loud, loud world around me, how can I possibly hear the call of the Lord?
Amidst all the shopping, commercials, and holiday gift guides, it’s too easy to lose the true meaning of the season: God’s ultimate gift of His son, Jesus. The gift of Jesus’s life is what we’re truly celebrating on Christmas, not all the presents you’ll open on Christmas morning. So, instead of creating a last-minute Christmas gift guide, I’m bringing you a Christmas give guide, with simple ways to give back meaningfully this holiday season.
I’ve found a bunch of meaningful gifts for the Christian girl in your life this holiday season, all under $30!

When was the last time you thought about why you started a blog in the first place?
We both know you can do better than being left on “Read 6:42 PM”, and basically having your feelings left “on Read”, too.

During my drive home from college, I was listening to regular, mainstream pop songs, and I wasn’t expecting to hear God in one of them.
